Project: Graphic design for poster & publication design for exhibition catalogue.

Created promotional visuals and catalogue for a solo show at Istanbul Concept Gallery.

Goals/strategy: With the artwork itself as inspiration, all decisions were made considering the visual language of the paintings and the themes of the body of work.

“For this body of work, I have combined my fascination with architectural ruins and structures, with personal memories of Istanbul and life in the Western United States. Interwoven with these ideas is my interest in the past, with the many lives that my “homes” have lived, and the many lives that have passed through these places. “ Gabrielle Reeves

Symbols of the different places referenced in the work and the artist statement were lifted from the paintings and used as elements throughout the catalogue, while the vintage quality of many of the pieces was used as a theme throughout the general design, including the cover, poster, page numbers and headings.
